All of this is true, which is why online dating is so exhausting. One silver lining to coronavirus social distancing is that it has provided me the opportunity to shut down my online dating accounts. Whether it was online or in-person interactions, it all seemed too complicated. Probably because at my age the people looking for relationships still have a lot of unresolved emotional wounds. At least that’s what I have noticed.
