Always trying to be “better” just confirms that we aren’t good enough. By the same token, in order to accept our sense of unworthiness we must get to the WHY. We each have our own why, and uncovering that liberates us. It does not, however stop us from feeling inadequate or unworthy from time to time. Unfortunately, that is hardwired into our neural network. But, we don’t have to generalize that belief or accept it without challenging how true it is in that situation. And then we find that it is usually not true.
