I always find it so fascinating that the core of what makes us human has been true and consistent for thousands of years, and that amazingly insightful people could describe it so well. Rumi understood and articulated our nature with remarkable clarity and optimism. As did LaoTzu, Buddha, Jesus, and a handful of others.
