You have courageously addressed a complicated and difficult topic. I agree about the importance of emotions. I suggest, though, that what you are writing about here is beliefs, rather than feelings. At one point you suggest as much.
“Remember, it is not enough to be hit or insulted to be harmed, you must believe that you are being harmed.”
It is the limiting beliefs that we have about ourselves that keep us trapped in our misery, regardless of the experience that helped form those beliefs. Yes, emotions/feelings arise from those beliefs, but the feelings are not the problems, it is the beliefs that animate them.
