In 2016 many people had a visceral dislike of Clinton(s) and were susceptible to the notion that their misfortune was the doing of foreigners (Mexicans, Muslims, Chinese, Europeans, etc). This time around Trump is targeting the “enemy” within, including radical leftists and their allies (aka African Americans). The question is which emotion is more manipulatable. Disgust with Trump or fear of the have-nots. Either way it will be close.
