Definitely, and if you can pivot within an organization that’s ideal. I became certified as a leadership coach and subsequently got involved in facilitating workshops and some one on one coaching with colleagues. It was all ad hoc, and I still had my “day job”, but it added more “pixels” and depth to my contribution. The real beauty of it was that I got to know colleagues on a personal level and see more of who they were than they typically revealed during the work day. It was a gift to be able to connect with people that way.
