Every explanation or description of God is a feeble attempt to describe the indescribable. Humans have this deep-seated need to understand, so when it comes to that which cannot be understood, we create a description that suits us. And then we create a religion that promotes that description as a way of controlling other people. And then great misery spreads in the wake of these religions.

Why not just appreciate being part of something wondrous and accept that we are incapable of accurately describing the ineffable. I believe that it can only be experienced for what it is, to the extent that we are capable, by stopping trying to put it into a box of our making.
