Exactly! Our desire to make sense of the incomprehensible only shrinks God to fit our capacity to describe it. We make up all sorts of attributes, fight and kill others whose supreme deity differs from ours, and in the process fail to experience what the universe has to offer us simple beings.

I have a Buddhist friend who is quite convinced that his truth is the Truth. No different than a fundamentalist Christian, Muslim, Jew, whatever. By selecting one version of Truth, one becomes blind to what is.
