Excellent article!

Regarding Bikeshedding, it seems to be an avoidance behavior. I don’t see it as much as a cognitive distortion as the others you point out. BTW I have definitely done this, and often this was actually beneficial. I always got the important stuff done, but sometimes I just wasn’t ready to tackle it, so I focused on more trivial tasks. Kind of a mental ice cream sandwich. A decadent snack before the main course.
