Excellent suggestions, but I’m exhausted after reading this. As an introvert, being in a crowded room with people who were all in networking mode was always my least favorite activity. At times I would embrace it, and it would actually go well. Most times, though, it was the most draining experience imaginable. I acknowledge the importance of these activities in certain careers, but gladly those days are behind me!
