Fantastic article! Having been in academia and the corporate world, I noticed that each had its own flavor of culture toxicity. At the recent American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine conference, we had a presentation on intellectual bullying, which while not unique to academia, does seem to flourish in that environment. Beyond individual strategies, how can one promote a more positive culture in an academic setting?
