Fantastic article! It rings so true. I’ve had my own journey with forgiveness, and it is one of the greatest gifts we can bestow upon ourselves.

I do wonder why God needs to forgive. Given how well you have articulated the journey from anger and resentment to forgiveness, I don’t see how this could apply to God. Other than our tendency to make God in our image and likeness. But, of course, that just diminishes God, who/which I don’t pretend to comprehend, but must certainly be at a level of consciousness well beyond ours.
