God does not have moral standards. That’s another instance of anthropomorphizing God. How could the creator of galaxies, black holes, and billions of forms of life concern itself with the behavior of one particular species? That perspective is as narcissistic as it comes.

The Bible is a product of men (literally). It is a rule book for maintaining order in a patriarchal society. Jesus sought to disrupt that. So what did the powers-that-be do? They co-opted the message and it’s followers to further strengthen their patriarchal hierarchy. This is all the doings of men. God has nothing to do with it.
