Great article! I believe that for most of us, the push approach is our natural default, probably because of societal conditioning and some deep seated insecurities. One of the best gifts from my coaching training, and what I always pass on to others, is the power and beauty of the pull approach. Because, as you write, it makes people feel validated, and that is what we want the most. It also makes you seem more interesting when you are genuinely interested in others. This can be abused and used for manipulation, but when done sincerely, it is a powerful way to connect with others.
