Gustavo, I enjoyed your article and the helpful links. I agree that a culture of psychological safety is crucial, and that it ideally should start with top leadership. If not, it can be nurtured within individual teams, although this requires a clearly stated intention and support within the team.
I am confused by your chart, though, especially the +/- designations. It seems to imply that self-awareness is associated with less vulnerability and creativity.
Another comment. Many organizations espouse a “culture of accountability”. I have seen the slippery slope from accountability to blame, and I believe that espousing this accountability mindset inadvertently subverts psychological safety.
