I agree. I just watched the Overtime segment of Bill Maher's Real Time show, and it was chock full of ignorant, libertarian bullshit. He's a smart guy, but he doesn't know squat about science. He had on Carrie Mead, one of those MDs who goes out of her lane and starts talking BS about metabolism and nutrition, subjects on which she has conducted no research but can speak about in ways that seem intelligent. She actually advocated for visiting your local raw milk farmer and deciding whether he has "good cows". What now? "Well, that sure looks like a good cow to me." Yeah, the one with high coliform counts in its milk, or Listeria, or even TB. Well, here we go. Let's give Darwin another crack at the ball.
