I am sympathetic to your viewpoints on the Trump debacle, but it is what people voted for. So yes, we have to wait for the next elections to start reversing the madness. That starts this year in some states. The question is, whether in this distorted media world in which we live, do grass roots efforts, like going door to door, volunteering, etc actually make a difference. They certainly didn’t in 2024. These efforts cannot overcome poor candidates, messaging that misses the target ( trying to get people to believe what’s “ right”), and the aggressive lying of the right wing media. The Dems gotta decide if they want to be “right” on social issues or in power to actually make a difference. And their left wing, Progressive allies gotta make the same hard choices. Gotta get real folks!
