I can speak with authority on this topic, as both a former equine veterinarian and former husband to a horse owner. Stereotypes do not always apply, but they can. What I have seen and experienced is that the horse will always come first. That’s ok. They really are cool animals. But you gotta understand that. I have had many female clients tell me that in a very matter-of-fact way. Like it’s obvious, so why not just say it out loud.

Her owning a horse is no reason to avoid a relationship with a woman. If she has multiple horses, though, run like hell!😆

And if she has a pig in the house…🙄
