I guess being mindful includes not labeling oneself. As old, a Buddhist, a Christian, a Republican, a musician, or whatever. It’s just me at this moment. And finding many ways to be grateful about right now. That’s where I seem to have landed. Maybe I am deluding myself, but it does seem liberating.

BTW, the EFFECTS of age are undeniable. Pain in lots of places! I know many more orthopedic surgeons now!
