I had my moment of feeling that I had lost connection with who I was two years into a corporate job I began after 20 years in academic teaching hospitals ( veterinary). I, too, was trying to be what I thought I needed to be to fit in. That was a wake up call, and I embarked on a years-long journey to reclaim myself. This included meditation, writing a kids’ adventure book ( to be playful), getting trained as a life and leadership coach, helping others connect with their innate great qualities, and ultimately sifting through the ashes of a failed marriage. Oh, and the pandemic isolation. A years’ long journey that’s still in progress, and feeling more like myself than ever!
