I have no doubt about Shin’s qualifications. We can still question conclusions, however. The jury is still out on whether the concerns that Ulm raised come to fruition. Let’s hope not. Nonetheless, the mRNA vaccines are designed for optimizing distribution and entry into cells, more so than other vaccines in general use. It’s still premature to conclude that this will not have unintended consequences down the road.
