I retired almost five years ago, then got divorced, then got pandemicked, so yeah, fucket. I am fortunate to have my own little oasis here, and gratitude and acceptance gave me the ability to reframe my mindset during the tumult of the past few years. We also need to give ourselves permission to get out of the achievement hamster wheel and actual enjoy the moment.
