I suspect that this excellent article is missing a fundamental point. Perhaps marijuana affects Seth Rogan’s brain by allowing him to be more coherent and productive. As you noted, the endocannabinoid system has neuron activity regulating effect. I’m not presuming any diagnosis in Rogan, but I would guess that his brain needs to “slow down” to function well. So pot does not make him creative, but allows his creativity to function coherently. I know someone like that. For most people, though, weed all day every day just turns us into listless stoners.
