I took this assessment, and I found the questions to be highly biased towards a business environment. Of course, this would be Mr. Dalio’s interest, but this assessment is too situational to be an accurate assessment of one’s personality. The other common flaw in these assessments is conflating who we are with how we are. Who we are is fairly fixed and consistent. How we are is situational, and it is also something we can change. We neither can nor need to change who we are. When I work with my coaching partners I emphasize working on how they are so that who they are can show up in entirety.
