I understand Rob’s objections, which seem very contextual, insofar as “superpowers” being used in an egoic, superficial, self-promoting manner.

I do, and will continue to, encourage clients to explore their superpowers. First, though, we explore their VALUES, getting very clear about what they are and how they show up. Then they identify their superpowers, their talents and personal characteristics that make them great. So, it is values driven, not ego driven. Unchecked ego is the kryptonite.

By the way, “villain” is a matter of perspective. Most villains are just trying to survive in a world in which they feel misunderstood.
