I’m glad your cat recovered. As a vet student (over 40 years ago!) I treated a dog that got into antifreeze with ethanol. Unfortunately, he got to us too late and kidney damage was too severe. It was quite impressive to look at his kidney tissue under the microscope and see the massive amount of glycolate crystals plugging the renal tubules.
