Indeed it is. I saw this photo and I had the same reaction. By the way, they are not holding hunting firearms. They are brandishing weapons that have the sole purpose to kill humans.

That’s the real message in the photo. “We are ready, in fact EAGER, to kill other humans. Just give us an excuse.” The Rittenhouse verdict validated this message. The verdict in Georgia against the racists who killed Ahmaud Arbery draws a particular line that really just says, “Don’t be a dumbass and record your racist, murderous acts.”

So, do we fight fire with fire, or is it time for another Gandhi movement? This is a question that I wrestle with, living among highly aggressive gun nuts. My choice is to live my life without fear and without attempting to meet force with force. I may be naive, but I have to live according to my values.
