What people forget, though, is that these industries helped to create better healthcare and greater food security. But yes, profit motive corrupted their businesses in many ways, leading to healthcare people can’t afford and addiction to processed foods that create a myriad of health problems that people can’t afford to manage. The solution cannot be found with Trump acolytes, though. First, Trump will always support business interests over those of the consumer. And these big problems require really intelligent and knowledgeable people with deep experience in science, medicine, and business. Good luck finding those in the Trump administration. Oh wait, what about Elon Musk? Maybe, if you could just take out the crazy.
