Isolated cannabinoids may work in some situations and not others. For example, epidiolex can be quite effective for seizures. Pain is a complex interaction of local and central effects. It makes sense that an isolated cannabinoid would give mixed results in that context. The challenge is in knowing what is the effective combination of cannabinoids and dosage. This can vary based on strain, year to year differences in growing conditions, etc. This ambiguity is fertile ground for all sorts of false claims. I guess each person has to find what works for them.
