Patient portals are well intentioned, but they have become as much a nightmare as the entire medical system, which, not coincidentally, is run by profit oriented companies. Thank god I chose veterinary medicine over human medicine, although even there corporate ownership is inexorably increasing. So, actually, thank god I’m retired!
