Like O’Leary, this is bluntly stated. Doesn’t make it incorrect though. O’Leary really sees himself and other super rich entrepreneurs as helping create opportunities for those with the initiative to take chances, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Of course he ignores the cruelty imposed on the permanent underclass. He has no empathy for them. He also can’t help everyone. Yes, his worldview is privileged. He comes off as an asshole. Yet, he does support the dreams of some, although only when it might benefit him, it seems.
