Maybe the new iteration of unions will better serve their constituents in both the short and long term. Unions have traditionally been beset by corruption, and their short term wins became long-term losses as companies could no longer afford massive pensions snd medical plans. All sides will benefit from a win-win mindset, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. Not when each side thinks they’re getting screwed by the other.
