Nextdoor is a Facebook affiliate, which is a consortium of advertisers. So, no wonder.

Also no wonder is that the posts tend to be like Facebook, including trolling, political BS ( mostly MAGA related), and unabashed ignorance. There are occasional posts that are relevant to where I live, so I put up with it.
