This is already underway in states like Texas and Alabama. My question is, how do we get rid of the evangelical Christians? In a democracy, they have freedom to practice their religious beliefs and freedom of speech. But they don’t play by the rules. Gerrymandering is one example. If it’s one or the other, and we choose democracy, what do we do with those who continue to try to destroy democracy? A thorny question, indeed.
