No, I can’t quit stretching, and here’s why. All the studies you refer to are with young people and assess efficacy based on performance criteria. I have no arguments with your conclusions in that context. I’m 65 and still running, swimming, and otherwise active. Stretching makes me feel better and allows me to continue these activities. No doubt about it. If I don’t stretch, I pay the price.
