NO IT DOES NOT! Below is the second amendment.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

It says nothing about personal self defense. It DOES state “A well regulated” militia….Not a bunch of Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and other such ilk, who are not at all regulated, cuz they want their “ freedom”. Nor members of inner city street gangs, many of whom, like Rittenhouse, are under 18.

Of course courts have interpreted the second amendment favorably, such that we can all own as many guns as we want for personal use, but it seems that this really should be restricted to those of us who are members of a “ well regulated militia”. Like the National Guard.
