Not “double clotting”. Warfarin is a vitamin K antagonist, so vitamin K supplementation reduces the effect of warfarin. Other anticoagulants, like Eliquis, work differently.

My critique of this article is that it seems to cherry-pick results of certain studies to make a case for something that is as of yet unproven. This is quite common in the popular press and on social media sites. Even the medical literature promotes unfounded claims (ivermectin, anyone?). Most people cannot critically read many medical studies and assess the validity of the methodology. In my career I worked with many statisticians, and there was often a disparity of opinion on statistical methodology among them. I certainly am not qualified to know who’s correct! That’s why I try to approach studies with a healthy skepticism and wait for corroboration. Repeatability by independent researchers is what one should look for before proclaiming some effect or benefit. But that’s no fun, I know.
