Often what we do beautifully is provided as a gift, and it can be disguised as something we might reject. I’m 69 and I care for my disabled daughter. It’s a lot of work, and it is not what I would have imagined as my life at this time. But it is beautiful work that fills my heart. Of course, I will soon need to find her a long term residential solution, and that, too, can be part of my beautiful work.
