Thank you. I still am unsure because studies I have read (far fewer than you!) seem to refer to “myocarditis in patients with Covid”, which falls short of cause and effect.
Regardless, even though the incidence of vaccine induced myocarditis is low, companies should be modifying their vaccines to reflect currently circulating variants that seem to be less pathogenic. Presumably the spike proteins of current variants could elicit less unwanted inflammatory responses. There’s talk of that being done, but regulatory agencies are quite slow to make important decisions.
