The corollary to this is that those who support vigilantism, either overtly or tacitly, oppose real law and order organizations like the FBI. Also the same folks who scream “Freedom!” Right. Freedom to take matters into their own hands without consequences. Unfortunately, this mindset often permeates local law enforcement. Like the recent incident in which a small town Ohio officer unleashed a police dog onto a black man who had his hands raised in surrender and was surrounded by state police. Just for fun, I guess. Freedom!
