The flaw in this thinking is self evident, but there’s much more to it that deserves consideration. This version of God is the amazing Creator that defies our comprehension. But in the same breath, Christians speak of a wrathful, vengeful, petty God that is made in the image and likeness of man. Who, by the way, also impregnates delightful young ladies (well, lady, according to the Bible). It’s rather hilarious, if they didn’t adhere to these beliefs so strongly.
