The point of the article seems to be that it does matter what language it’s in, because the message can change drastically. Sometimes that’s a limitation of the language and sometimes it’s intentional. That’s my issue with the New Testament. In many cases we don’t really know who wrote what or when, nor do we know their agenda. People have co-opted it for their own purposes. Maybe not all of it, but certainly the parts that justify the “official” church perspective and interests.
