There are many problems with Christianity, and it starts with the deification of Jesus. Once that happened, he could do no wrong. As another commenter noted, Jesus was often guilty of behaviors that people characterize as “un-Christlike”. It seems to me that Jesus was trying to show the people of his time that the pathway to God is through ourselves, and that he was trying to transform how people considered God and gods. Unfortunately, modern Christianity sees God no differently than did the Greeks and Romans, whose gods reflected their own ego personalities.
