They have aimed too high too fast. Beto has no particular governing experience, other than as a Congressman (what do they actually do?), and Abrams has a similar deficit in her resume. Try running for Secretary of State before governor. Get some actual administrative experience. Obama was a fluke, insofar as coming out of nowhere.

I’m hoping that Katie Hobbs wins the AZ governor race. She was Secretary of State here during the contentious 2020 election, and she comported herself very well under fire. That’s the experience you need to move up the ranks.
