Things are happening all the time, and it’s how our brain processes and interprets these events that gives them their impact. I know it’s more fun to think that it’s God or “ the universe” sendings a message (Hey, I do it!), but our brains are perfectly capable of taking on the role of our mystical guide.

This does not make me an atheist. I just believe that we should have the humility to accept what is incomprehensible and not create elaborate stories to explain these fascinating events, of which I have experienced many.
