This is a great story. Legendary. So many people have tried to duplicate this experience, often with disappointing results. The point is, this was a fork in the road for Richard Alpert. That fork in the road will look completely different for each of us. Rather than try to duplicate someone else’s extraordinary experience, we should be open to what ours might be. Expect to be surprised, just as Alpert was.
