This is a wonderful interpretation, but it says more about human beingness than God. It is remarkable how ancient philosophers of many cultures were able to comprehend and articulate our fundamental nature. Sure, they placed deities in starring roles, but these deities are our creation, not the other way around. And I don’t think that matters!
