This is interesting. I would be interested hearing what you and others believe “equity” actually means. How does it compare and contrast with equality? Recently, Bernie Sanders, as liberal as they come, was asked this question and he acknowledged that he really didn’t know what equity means in the context that it is now often used. Yet, he would certainly support the principles you mention.
