This sounds like it was written by the president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce. Some caveats about doing business in India:

  • Probably the most cumbersome bureaucracy in the world.
  • Very close ties with Russia, which is not a normal country and is unfit to partner with western nations.
  • Horrible patent laws for foreign companies. Like China, Indian companies have a history of copying proprietary technology and chemistry.

I agree that there seem to be economic opportunities with India, but one must go in with eyes wide open.
