Um, some of the most stupid and oppressive laws can be found in Texas and Florida. Lots of people would like to live undisturbed by Texas’ “gotcha” anti abortion law, which encourages people to rat out their neighbor. So don’t talk about how Republicans just want to live in peace. They should try on the golden rule for size.
